Welcome to my site, my name is Mauricio Cuburu. I am originally from Mexico City; presently I live in Baja California. I have played guitar for 20 years, I studied flamenco and classical guitar in Chicago Illinois. during the learly 90's I played in an alternative folk rock band (FOUNTAINHEAD). 1991 I moved to Baja California to join a TIPOS de NEGRO, from the breakup of wich NUDOS (1992-1999)was born. MEXJAZZ is a mixture of styles and ideas. Thanx for apreciating the music. |
