Curt Siffert regularly improvises new piano pieces as a creative exercise. The later pieces in particular are very well microphoned and recorded. All pieces are made up on the spot, with the exception of those that are re-recorded for a better take - none of the music is planned out ahead of time. There are a variety of styles, from new age to jazz to blues to eerier free tonality. All can be used for background music for podcasts if Curt's website is credited. Curt also welcomes artists to supply artwork to be bundled with the music, the results of which can be found on http://curtsiffert.com/artmusings .
