Born in Little Rock,Arkansas Sound Assassin had a wide variety of musical influences. Being a former rapper and a DJ with his older brother, he got a ear full of rap,rock,jazz,hiphop,blues,funk etc.Leaving rap aside for a moment and picking up the guitar he learned he could not only rap to those instrumentals but play them as well. Mixing hiphop drums patterns with a southern-bluesy style rock guitar feel, gave him the signature sound most are familiar with today.
