why do people need to know
the answers to everything
as soon as one is uncovered
another question takes its place

I think all beliefs or faiths
are always debatable
theyre just a way for people
to make some order out of chaos
and to feel better about their significance
in the scheme of things
I just seem to know
theres no reason behind those moments
they just happen
those things I tend to believe in
because they seem mysteriously to suggest
that I am plugged
into a universe of linked particulars
I dont have a lot of faith in anything
save that I can do
whatever I set my mind to doing
I believe without much reservation
in that
as a matter of policy
maybe Im trying to break it down too much
I just know that when it comes to things
I believe or dont believe
I never feel any choice in the matter
is there any volition in believing
