| drifting over the pines I see the the face without the makeup holding on to me without a sign of ever letting go my mind will drift in leisure knowing theres no anchor telling me its time to go swooping down over the sound I see our cottage lying reminding me of all the days that I have left behind me it flips through like a slide show revealing no more bitter cold one day I will let go the train is very crowded but we find a place to sit down looking like a mirror your tired eyes will start to shutdown thinking over actions it becomes so very clear to me nobody will help us so forever its just you and me doesnt really matter if our squatters right are up as long as you and I are free sleeping in the car with you Im energized and able lack of sleep has made the world seem like just a fable the sun is going down but the bridge is close ahead reminds me of the day when we finally arrived relaxing now I see the buildings across the evening sky and turn this long day off |
