General REVIEW OF Me MUSIC...Right what can I say about your tracks I cant comment on any bad production or bad lyrics...so I'll just let you know how much I love 'em "Coventry Cross" I love that riff and I love your voice, you sound like Neil Young without sounding like your trying to if you catch my drift...and that organ as well and then that banjo? again adds something else... I love the lines "take Elizabeth, take her by force" that riff is dirty in a good way in fact its too good almost and I love that talking in the background... I really cant say enough good words about this song I just love it and maybe a bit too much and why it feels like its only on for 2 min's when its on for 6, I don't know maybe a sound of its quality "Friends"- again I love it and I feel I shouldn't because the lyrics are a bit how can I put it, a bit cheesy, but yet even this doesn't bother me... the guitars and organ are on top form once again... but saying the lyrics are cheesy there are some real good lines in here which are so 'true', "some friends never make it...others kinda fake it..some fade away and some borrow money...etc...when friends become lovers there the most dangerous friends of all" that bit is so true. Some real nice harmonies on here "Bizzy Signal" this one I had my air guitar out for... this one sounds like you had real fun with and the lead guitar is awesome...all out rock, ... "Alright" ...a lovely bit of harmonica and some lovely lyrics an all round great tune... again some very true lyrics on this one again I can't really say more "Id Give" this is simply beautiful and your voice sounds like your about to break, and its simply fantastic... I can see Neil Young influence on this but, that's all good to me,... once again everything on top form the production the vocals the piano the horns. the lyrics once again are simply beautiful and seem extremely truthful, "tired eyes and aching heart" beautiful... again it may be on for just over 5 min's but it seems much shorter great, great stuff,... "Stay".... the lyrics seem very subtle, but again are fantastic and beautiful and the production seems in par, with the rest it's short and sweet. "Nancy Whisky", ah its like being in the pub with me grandpa (he was Irish) this ones sounds fun to play and sing and I can see the Pogues singing it "Lil Princess" I don't know why I keep putting the same thing about each song but again its simply beautiful and the lyrics again are on top form some nice is it a flute in the background the horns? really take the song up a notch and the guitars are played with a real conviction and purpose "Disappear" the lead guitars awesome the lyrics too I think this may be one of my faves after Coventry Cross, the lead after each line really makes the song and the chorus really takes it up then it stops and "disappears" (see what I did there) "RedShiftedStarLight" now for something a little different... I even enjoyed this track ya cant beat abit of backwards guitar can u well I think I'm done... just be sure if I'm ever in California I'm joining your band and you don't have a choice in the matter I'm afraid.. right I'm off to do air guitar around ma house to Coventry Cross, Les O'shey mp3artsonline.com ......... ...Growing up in: Lynwood,.. (Whew, What a line!!?), ... ..I hope you all have a good sound system, make sure to turn up the bass, sometimes these tiny computer speakers just can't reproduce a good bottom and then the treble is high, so we hope you can tweak it in with a bit more bass... you do what you think to do with the treble, we like treble from a good 100 watt rms speaker system, but we all do with what we have.
