For my 8th birthday, I recieved a student model nylon string acoustic guitar and began to learn how to play. Before long , I realized that music was all I wanted to do. The next several years were spent learning Beatles, Who and Led Zeppelin songs, and dreaming of growing up to become a rock star.

As I got better at my craft, I began to learn how to put words to the music I was createing. At 16, I formed my first real band and got to hear my songs played back to me for the first time. We probably weren't very good, but, at the time, nothing could have sounded sweeter . I still dont't believe there is any greater rush.

As the years went by I got a be a pretty good guitar player and songwriter. I got to play and record with allot of great musicians, and even got to sing and play on some pretty cool cds. I never become a rock star but I did become a proffessional musician. and, I like to think that I wrote some catchy tunes along the way.

It's been 29 years since I got that first guitar and I still dream of becoming a rock star when I grow up.
